Location and Parking
The location of the event is Rowntree Park, Terry Avenue, York.
We encourage people to cycle or walk to the event. However, if you do need to use your car, please do not park in the neighbouring streets.
The nearest car park is St George’s Field which is within easy walking distance from the event. This car park is located just off the A1036, opposite where Bishopgate Street and Tower Street meet, directly between the ‘V’ of the two rivers (see map opposite). The Rowntree Park car park, located off Terry Avenue, will be available for disabled badge holders only. Please note that this car park will be closed to all other users on both Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2010.
